Growing in Christ

One of our tasks as a church is to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12).  At CPC, we offer numerous opportunities for people of all different ages to come to know Christ, deepen their relationship with Him, and grow in their knowledge and understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ.

  • Youth and Adult Sunday School

Each Sunday, at 9:15 am we have our adult and youth Sunday School class which meets in the sanctuary.  The current class is taught by Pastor John and Curtis Neff on the subject of the What/Why/How of Worship.

At a point in the class our Youth leave for Break-Out group discussion with their leader.

The style of the class is information, scripture and great discussion.  Grab a cup of coffee and join us!

  • Children's Sunday School

Our children's class is currently using an Advent and Christmas study through the beginning of January 2021.  Children of all ages are welcome!

We also provide a Nursery for our youngest disciples!

Start children off on the way they should go,  and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 (NIV).

  • Wednesday Night Supper & Bible Study

Wednesday night's during the school year, we gather in the Fellowship Hall/Sanctuary.    Dinner is served around 5:30 pm.  The cost is just $4 per person. Beginning around 6:00 pm, we enjoy a time of Bible Study. Right now we are working on The Ten Commandments. Pastor John Foster is currently leading the study.

There are also lessons and activities provided for children of all ages through our children's program. Currently they are enjoying a study/program about Advent and Christmas.

  • Women's Weekly Bible Study

A group of CPC women and friends gather each Tuesday for a time of fellowship, prayer, and study.  Typically, this study uses books by well-known and respected Christian scholars and teachers to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God.  Bible Study begins at 4:30 pm.  Our current topic is The People of the Nativity.

      All women are welcome!
