Mission/Outreach Opportunities

Walking where Jesus leads.........

At CPC, we are committed to global & local mission - caring both for the physical and spiritual needs of others.

The Missions Committee at CPC is dedicated to supporting and sponsoring local and global missions work as we are called to serve those in need and to grow the kingdom of God. We support ministries that feed, house, clothe, and teach the ministry of the gospel both in our community and around the world. Our local mission work includes the Prodisee Pantry, Women’s Medical Center in Robertsdale, and Baldwin Family Promise. Additionally and locally, we have begun and will continue to reach out to the neighbors around us such as--Daphne Middle School, Daphne East Elementary, help our local school teachers, etc. -asking how our church might be able to them. We view this as a way of reaching out and blessing the local community. Globally, we have a group of dedicated folks that go to Honduras several times a year on a medical mission and throughout the years we have sponsored Operation Christmas Child. The Missions Committee is always looking for new members, new ideas, and additional hands as we seek to serve, love and grow Gods Kingdom.

  • This program is a network of fourteen "host" churches and six "support" congregations here in Baldwin county that provide overnight lodging, meals, and hospitality to homeless families with children.

  • Each year, we collect Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes between October and mid-November.  If you are interested in learning more about Sumaritan's Purse of the Operation Christmas Child program, please visit their website by clicking the link above.

  • World Outreach (WO) is the mission sending agency of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Our principal calling is to glorify God by starting disciple-making movements among least-reached people groups, especially among Muslims.

The Vision of the EPC World Outreach is to glorify God through full-cycle church planting that firmly establishes the Church of Jesus Christ among the least-reached peoples on earth, with a primary focus on the Muslim world. This vision leads us to work in those places where people groups have never heard—and cultures that have not yet been transformed by—the gospel, and therefore there is no established, viable church.

We believe the goal of missions is for God to be glorified as worshippers of Christ are gathered from every tribe, language, and nation. Our work focuses on planting churches, equipping those churches and their leaders to grow to maturity, enabling them to reproduce themselves in their own culture, imparting a vision to send their own people as cross-cultural missionaries, and partnering with them to do so. Where possible, we seek to plant churches that are Reformed and covenantal, as we believe that is the clearest—though not the only—expression of biblical teaching.

CPC currently supports two EPC World Outreach families:  Nick and Amanda, Noir and Rebecca.  You can find out more about EPC World Outreach at www.epcwo.org.

  • Honduras Mission Trip

One of the most dearly loved missions of our church is our annual medical mission trip to Honduras.  We have come to love and care for the people there as if they were our own family.
