  • Rev. Tommy Robinson - Pastor

    The Rev. Tommy Robinson became our pastor on July 1, 2016. Originally from Meridian, MS, he has previously served as the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Houma, LA. Prior to that he was the youth director at Grace Chapel Presbyterian Church in Madison, MS. Tommy is a graduate of Mississippi State University, and received his M.Div from Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson campus). He has been married to his wife, Amy, since 2005. They have three children: Ashby (2009), Thomas (2010), & Robert (2013). They also have a fourth child, a yellow lab named Gumbo.


    During his free time, Tommy enjoys playing golf, working with his hands, spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing. He believes that everything that we do in life is an opportunity for ministry. "Many times, your life can serve as a more effective witness to someone than any sermon you could preach."

  • Tyson Reed - Director of Music Ministries

    Tyson Reed has been the Director of Music Ministries at Christ Presbyterian since November 2014. Prior to coming to CPC, he served as the Associate Minister of Music at Camp Ground Baptist Church in Ozark, AL, a staff singer at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, AL, and Interim Minister of Music at Faith Family Fellowship in Spanish Fort, AL. Besides serving at CPC, Tyson works as a teacher at Foley High School. He teaches courses in Psychology, Sociology, and Comparative Religion and has taught courses in choral music and musical theater. While not working at the church or school, Tyson loves spending time with his dog, Rebel, and traveling (20 countries and counting).

  • Kay Ponder - Secretary

    Kay joined the staff at Christ in August 2016.  Kay and her husband (Gene) have been residents of Baldwin county since 1997.  Gene has been an educator at Spanish Fort High School since 2007. Prior to that he taught at Daphne High School.  They have three children:  Ellen, 22, Jacob, 17, and Samuel who is 5.
