Father Abraham had many sons, at least eventually he would, but at first, he had no sons. He only had a promise, yet he believed God that His promise was true, and God imputed that to Abraham as righteousness. Abraham was justified by His faith, and so are we. Yet Abraham also had doubt and fell short many times.

In this sermon, we look at the relationship of faith and righteousness to see how the Bible's honest depiction of the father of faith should give us assurance of our salvation in Christ alone.
