Staff Spotlight –Adam Kowalczyk
Two Sundays ago, the Session of Christ Presbyterian Church voted unanimously to hire Adam Kowalczyk as our Youth Director. Adam grew up in Marshall, VA and has three siblings. He played baseball in college that led him to Belhaven University in Jackson, MS where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree and where he still holds the school’s homerun record. Adam met his wife Ellen at Belhaven and they were married in 2017. Adam and Ellen have one daughter, Charlotte, who is two years old and has never met a stranger.
Adam’s work at CPC will be primarily focused on Jr. and Sr. High Youth and their families. He will lead the Youth Sunday School and Wednesday Night classes as well as various activities outside the normal church schedule. Additionally, Adam will have a hand in leading worship and in overseeing the Children’s Ministry of CPC.
The Session is thrilled to have Adam on staff and we are looking forward with great hope to the ways God will use him to bless our church and our community. Would you join us in praying for Adam and for his family as he begins his ministry here at CPC?
