Mission Update: Women’s Care Medical

Mission Update: Women’s Care Medical
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”-Psalm 139:13-14

The abortion question has become politicized in modern America. One side of the aisle is pro-abortion while the other side of the aisle is pro-life. Ultimately, however, the abortion question is not a political one but a biblical one. What does the Bible say about abortion? What does the Bible say about the life of unborn children?

Psalm 139 offers us a very clear answer to this question. The psalmist states that God created him in his mother’s womb by “knitting” him together. He goes on to say that God made him “fearfully and wonderfully.” These words describe a process carefully planned and carefully carried out. There is no hint of anything mistaken or accidental. The teaching of Scripture is clear: the life of an unborn child is the life of a human being, a life made in the image of God, a life worthy of – life.

In public recognition of this biblical truth, CPC gathered on Saturday, April 15 to support Women’s Care Medical in their annual Walk for Life. Women’s Care Medical is our local crisis pregnancy center here in Baldwin County. For many years, they have been helping parents choose life for their unborn children. By participating in the annual Walk for Life, CPC is able to give tangible support to their mission.

This year, CPC had 28 walkers who raised a total of $5,440 for Women’s Care Medical. Thank you for your generous support of this incredibly important ministry.

Your Pastor and Friend,
John Knox Foster
