Mission Opportunity – Child Evangelism Fellowship
“Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’” –Matthew 19:14
 The story of Jesus and the little children teaches us an important lesson. The disciples believed that the kingdom of God was too important to be held up by little kids. But they were wrong. In fact, Jesus teaches that it is precisely little children to whom the kingdom belongs.

Child Evangelism fellowship exists to bring the gospel to these little children whom the Lord Jesus loves so much. CPC is blessed to partner with them in this endeavor. Throughout the summer months, CEF will be hosting a series of “5-Day Clubs” that function much like a Vacation Bible School. They will gather children from all over the community to play games, eat, and most importantly– hear the good news of the gospel.

This week, from April 24-28, we have a special opportunity to help CEF in this endeavor. Through their “5 Days of Giving” program, all donated funds will be matched and go to support the work of these 5-Day Clubs this summer.
