New Year’s Resolutions and Reflections
"You know how I always dread the whole year? Well, this time I'm only going to dread one day at a time." —Charlie Brown
Today is New Years Eve – a time for reflection, giving thanks, and making resolutions for the New Year. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to take some time today to answer these questions:
-Where have I seen God at work in my life this year?
-What blessings has God given me this year that I should be especially thankful for?
-What is God calling me to next year that needs my attention, energy, and resolve?

As you prepare for 2025, I hope you’ll find the wisdom in the words of that great sage, Charlie Brown: take 2025 one day at a time. Look for God’s work in your life each day. Reflect on God’s goodness to you each day. Resolve to follow the Lord each day.

Psalm 143 puts it this way: “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done; I ponder the works of your hands. I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.”

From my family to yours, Happy New Year!
