Mission Update: Prodisee Pantry

Mission Update: Prodisee Pantry
“It’s about hunger”

What is Prodisee Pantry? Prodisee Pantry is a faith-based non-profit community ministry providing emergency food and disaster relief located right here in Baldwin County.

What is their mission? Prodisee Pantry’s mission statement is based on Matthew 25:35 where Jesus says, “I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” It is about food, a warm welcome, kindness, someone to listen and having the resources to help in times of need.

How can you help? The main distribution day for food and other services is every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The Prodisee Pantry relies on volunteers. There are many ways to serve at the Prodisee Pantry by calling 251-626-1720 or email: volunteer@prodiseepantry.org. Prodisee Pantry is a non-profit that relies on generous donations. They raise funds through several fundraisers, including the Turkey Trot, fill the plate, and an annual golf tournament. You can support Prodisee pantry by donating directly via their website, by participating in one of the fundraisers listed above, or by giving to the General Fund at CPC.

It's about hunger and being the hands and feet of Christ.

Thank you for your generous support of the Prodisee Pantry.
